Teenagers from Hong Kong and Shenzhen hold a giant national flag during a flag-raising ceremony at Shenzhen Children’s Palace on Saturday. More than 300 students from the two cities attended the event, organized by the Hong Kong Army Cadets Association and Shenzhen Juvenile Police Information (JPI), to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

The event, organized by the Futian authorities, featured a repertoire of songs and music and led the participants on a musical tour around the shopping complex.
